Start being brave about everything. Drive out darkness and spread light. Don’t look at your weaknesses. Realize instead that in Christ crucified you can do everything.St. Catherine of Siena (via thefullnessofthefaith)
Just remember, during the winter months, when no leaves or flowers prove the life that exists - the roots are digging deep for sustenance. I hope your “winter” leads you towards an even deeper encounter with our Source, Christ Jesus.blindmewithcolor
Reset my heart, break my pride, fill my empty heart, and make my life transparent so that only you can shine through. Mold me, refine me, guide me, and hold me; I am desperate to be reminded that I am Your child, that I am not alone, and that You have it all.
I am weak, but You are strong; I am guilty, but You have redeemed me; I am wicked, but You are righteous. This is where my hope is found, in the reality of You. Lord, may the bonds the bind us never be loosed, may the promise that holds me never be forgotten, and may the journey You are leading me find its way back to Your perfect peace.
You are love, You are peace, You are joy, You are constant, You are eternal, and You are justice; because You are God, I am able to rest.T.B. LaBerge // Thy Will Be Done (via tblaberge)
My goal is to pray so much and so often I pray with out realizing it. I want talk to God and learn how to tap in to a relationship. I want to hear His thoughts and I want to laugh with Him. I want to pray so much that it is like talking to my best friend.
Knowing who you are in Christ gives you the ability to rest. When you don’t know who you are, you strive. So rest child, you are loved and accepted by God. You are seen as holy and blameless in His sight. You are His beloved, his friend, his son or daughter, you are His cherished, chosen one. You are His, come and rest.September 15, 2014// An invitation
Worship is so much more than the songs I sing. So much more than the air I breathe. It’s really indescribable. The best way to describe it is like eating a meal; that’s literally what it feels like to me. It’s like pouring out my love and adoration to my King; yet it’s also like siting and allowing the Holy Spirit to feed me and fill me up. It’s a beautiful exchange! And when it’s really good, I regurgitate it. Is that weird?
Grace isn’t leniency when we’ve sinned. Grace is the enabling gift of God not to sin. Grace is power, not just pardon.John Piper (via littlethingsaboutgod)
Satan tells me I am unworthy; but I always was unworthy, and yet You have long loved me; and therefore my unworthiness cannot be a barrier to having fellowship with You now.Charles Haddon Spurgeon // Morning and Evening; Feb 3 (via drawmeafteryou)
